JOB TITLE: Shift Coordinator
LOCATION: Reach Deaf Living Service

DURATION: One Year Fixed Term
SUMMARY:
The purpose of the Shift Coordinator is to ensure the support needs of
service users is met daily where they are allocated and to ensure
adequate cover is provided throughout the service by maintaining a
roster on the TMS System. The Shift Coordinator role is to lead and
support the wider support team with guidance and support with
policies, protocols and day to day tasks. The Coordinator will report
to the Community Support Managers. This role has direct support hours
in community homes supporting service users and staff, the coordinator
will also have dedicated office days for administration and roster
planning.
BELOW ARE SOME OF THE MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Actively promote the Vision of Reach Deaf Living Service
* Ability to plan, organise and problem solve
* Coordinating the roster and updating TMS daily
* Ensure daily plans occur with the right supports
* Correspond with staff in relation to rostering and duties
* Ensure all relevant information is communicated and documented
appropriately
* Ability to deliver a Handover to staff on duty
* Effectively communicate with family members and external services
* Ensure staff carry out their duties to a high standard and in line
with policy and procedures
* Actively promote a Positive Behavior Support environment
* Have a working knowledge of all relevant legislation and a proven
ability to implement standards and regulations
* Managing Petty cash in line with Reach protocols
